I recently had the pleasure of reviewing Artifacts of Memory, an installation by artist Crystal Schenk, now showing at the Linfield Gallery. Schenk created the piece as a way to make sense of the grief she experienced after her mother's suicide in 2004. It is a powerful piece to see in person; for those of you in Oregon, well worth the drive to see it.
